Save paraplegic girl's diabetic cat
Donation protected
Thank you so much for viewing my GoFundMe campaign. You just being here and sharing my need is a blessing.
My cat Chunky is 9 years young and I have just learned he is diabetic. I am paraplegic, on a fixed income, and cannot afford the monitoring, special food, and insulin he will need. Without help, my best friend will die.
UPDATE 2/6/15:
I just left the veterinarian hospital for Chunky and he has worsened since just last week. His glucose is high at 690 and needs to be at 120. I am in SERIOUS need of financial help with insulin and syringes. I have the prescriptions for both. Please help me save my kitty.
The life expectancy of a cat is 12-15 years. So Chunky's life is FAR from over. I am hoping your donation will at least allow me to restore him to the happy healthy cat I know he can be.
Chunky is a special cat to me and he improves my quality of life as a paraplegic. He helps me with my daily life by offering his love to me 24/7. He must be always touching me with his paw when laying down on my bed and always steals my hugging pillow just to be near me. He's the most adorable family pet that's not just a pet. He's like my child. This kitty means the world to me and I love him very much.
GOFUNDME IS OUR LAST RESORT.
Your donation will bless many lives, since he is a special cat to many others as well. Chunky is a lap cat and loves attention from everyone. The vet told that he's the best patient he's ever seen.
Chunky's condition is worsening by the day.
Since his diagnosis, Chunky isn't so Chunky anymore. He has lost 10 lbs. He only weighs 11 lbs now. You can see his bones and it's scary. Your donation WILL save his life. Please help.
Any amount will help. Even if you can only afford to share this, it will help. Hopefully it reaches someone who does have the means to donate and help us.
The goal amount is for one year of care.
Here's a breakdown of his expenses:
1 bottle of insulin (for six mos) =$200
Bag of syringes =$50
Weekly glucose tests =$90
4lb bag of dry diabetic chow =$30
Canned diabetic food $1.41 per can twice a day
Thank you for your shares, donations and love.
God bless you and be with you for your kindness.
