I am currently severely underemployed. We can barely pay our bills as it is. We live in a very old house that is prone to insects. We can live with the bed bugs. We can live with the odd mass of fruit flies.
Two of our cats, Kakei and Zak, are having a severe reaction to fleas (vomiting, shaking, hair loss, scratching). The flea treatment we need for three cats is $16-ish per cat plus visit fees, allergy shots, and antibiotics, for three months. We also need to come up with the money to wash everything, and to use a fogger on the house every two weeks for the next six weeks. We really need donations, as the visit ended up being $80 more than I was originally quoted.
I make minimum wage at 15 hours or less a week. We're frugal, never buy treats for ourselves or go anywhere we don't HAVE to, but I can't make miracles happen. I have to somehow have money for utilities and our phones for looking for work, and my medicine, and we just can't do it. I have nothing I can give back for your help but undying gratitude. If you can't help, please spread the word.
Note: We had to raise the goal because the vet was $80 over what I was quoted. Yikes! :c
