Please read this. The greatest gift of Nepal is not the Himalayas, not the aesthetic beauty, not the ancient temples. IT IS THE GRACEFULNESS OF PEOPLE.

I grew up in Nepal, the most beautiful country for me. I have been teaching mathematics at Butte College, and California State University, Chico for the past 25 years and have been lucky enough to visit Nepal about once a year. Seeing the devastation due to this massive earthquake has brought me constant tears.Finding life and death within close proximity made me weep (see photo above). All the money will go towards food, water and medicine and rebuilding homes and schools, especially to villages such as Barpak and Laprak that have been very hard to reach and now in rubbles. 100% money will be distributed to charity foundation that have had long presence in Nepal such as BibekSheel Nepali, Seva and AmeriCare. Please do whatever you can to help for the helpless. I will keep you updated of where the money is going. Every penny helps as even $50 can be enough to feed a family for almost a month. I have direct contact with people who have served their entire life completely helping the helpless in Nepal. Please do what you can to help.
