I am Cheryl Jones, Founder of the American Homeless Families Foundation. A 3rd generation caregiver for Veterans. A Family Tradition Of Over 50 Years Caring For Our Veterans!
Rural areas, such as the Northeast Texas area, with over 8,000 square miles, have NO VA Medical Center or Administrative Offices. Many homeless Veterans are stranded in these rural areas and have no access to transportation or communication. AHFF searches the rural areas for these Veterans and gives them access to food and shelter. Along with the opportunity to utilize our resources to take the necessary steps for a New Beginning!
I am a widow of a Veteran, after 34 years of marriage.
Surviving spouses and children are mourning.

Soup kitchen's in large communities don't have enough food for all the Veterans. And no soup kitchen's in rural areas.
