The USGAA/NACB Finals is the annual championship for the sports of Gaelic Football, Hurling and Camogie in North America.
More than 100 teams and 2,000 athletes from across the USA and Canada compete for the North American title in various divisions within each sport.
2016 marks the first time this event will be held in the Pacific Northwest.
The NW USGAA and Seattle Gaels are the primary hosts and want to partner with the wider community to make this incredible opportunity the best it can be.
In addition to the excitement and fun of seeing these great games that are growing in popularity all over the world, the 2016 USGAA Finals will shine a spotlight on the Puget Sound and the remarkable diversity of attractions, businesses and cultural institutions that make this area one of the greatest places on Earth.
However, to make it happen we need your help. Producing this event is an expensive undertaking. We need to fund the basic infrastructure (everything from water stations to portable toilets to scoreboards), provide circulator bus transportation for athletes throughout the weekend, hire security, secure permits, provide field equipement, etc.
This is where YOU come in. Be an important part of the event by making a donation to support the effort. Your financial support will allow us to produce a terrific weekend and show the world that Gaelic games are not just the most exciting sports in the world, but that the community that surrounds them is one of great diversity, terrific people, and an all inclusive group of people who care about sport, history, and heritage.
