Hacker Space Start Up Costs

Hello All,
My name is Leo and I'm the founder of Security Shell. To those of you who are unfamiliar with Security Shell, we are an information security focused meetup operating out of Philadelphia. Our long term goal is to become a 501C3 focused on Information Security education.
I started Shell to promote the discussion within the Philadelphia InfoSec community, give experts a place to share their knowledge with others, and to give people a place to develop their skills by collaborating on projects.
So far, we have been in operations for just under two years and have reached 254 members ranging from local professionals to students several state away. As of June 1st, we hit a major milestone. By working together with the Building Bok in South Philadelphia, we've managed to open what to my knowledge is the first Information Security Hacker Space in Philadelphia.
The reason I am reaching out to all of you today is that in the process of starting thia Hacker Space I've been taking on most of the costs to help smooth Security Shell's growth. However now that the space has operational expenses I want to reach out to the community to get us past our furniture needs and the unexpected cost of rewiring a room in a 75+ year old school. We will have key holders to help cover the cost of the day-to-day operations of the space but before we can have key holders, we need furniture.
The goal of this GoFundMe campaign is to help pay for the furniture and wiring that will be used by our members and any meetups that wish to use the space to teach and inform the community. We don't just want the space to be about Information Security ( although that will be our primary focus) we want the space to serve as a way to incubate other meetups and organizations like Devnuts and VentureF0rth helped us out when we started.
If you are interested in getting involved or donating in a more direct manner, we have a paypal and are open to corporate sponsorship so long as you are comfortable with our goals of educating the public regarding information security issues and developing information security professionals.
