Seminarian Legal Defense Fund

Concerned faculty and friends of the Starr King School for the Ministry have set up a legal defense fund to be made available to SKSM students who desire legal representation as they respond to challenges against them by the school.  Funds will be paid out directly to attorneys for legal fees rather than being released to students.
 
The  initial $3,000 goal was a starter goal and the community fully funded this amount within 24 hours. We are now raising additional funds. I have been encouraged by attorneys working with our seminarians (and others who are not, but are just wise people) to increase the goal to $10,000. Please donate generously. 

CHANGE: Any funds remaining after legal fees are paid will be given to the SKSM Student Body government to establish a fund for SKSM students in crisis. First, however, each donor will be contacted to see if they would prefer to have their contribution (or remaining portion thereof) returned to them.
