Semper K9 Assistance Dogs

Who We Are:
Semper K9 is being established by OEF/OIF combat veteran Marine Corps Dog Trainer & Kennel Master Christopher Baity and his wife Amanda Causey Baity. Christopher has a passion to help his fellow service members and to provide Assisted-Living K9s for wounded, critically-ill and injured members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families.
Semper K9 will use ‘rescue dogs’ from various organizations throughout the United States to give these unclaimed K9s a special opportunity to be the best friend and companion to a service member.
Who We Help:
Qualifying post 9/11 Marines, Sailors, Soldiers, Airmen, Coast Guardsmen, and reservists with amputations, spinal cord injuries, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), severe Post Traumatic Stress (PTS), burns, blindness, other physical injuries, or those suffering from life-threatening illnesses. We also help spouses and children of active duty service members who face a life threatening illness or injury.
Additionally, through our internship program, we provide opportunities for qualifying service members with a desire to learn a new trade. Qualifying applicants will be trained to become a dog handler, dog trainer, professional dog walker or groomer.
