Force Green Robotics 10265 is An FTC team dedicated to STEM education, gracious professionalism, and robotics! Our team was created in 2014, and we currently have 12 members. Although we all attend the same school, we are a private team, and not school sponsored.
We have been very busy this season (2018-2019), We attended several competitions including one at Maryville University and one in Rolla, MO. We also hosted a competition at STLCC-Wildwood in December 2018. Members of our team (and the robot) have attended many STEM nights at the local elementary and middle schools this season also.
On 1/9/2019 we won the Inspire 1st place Award at SEMO Qualifier giving us a spot in the State Finales (This judged award is given to the team that embodied the ‘challenge’ of the FIRST Tech Challenge program. The team that receives this award is a strong ambassador for FIRST programs and a role model FIRST team.).
On 3/9/2019 our team secured a spot in the First Tech Challenge World Championships by winning the Connect 1st place Award at the State Finales (This judged award is given to the team that most connects with their local science, technology, engineering and math(STEM) community). We were one of nine teams to advance from our region. We have always made it to the State Finales but prior to this year we have not advanced beyond.
The World Championships a 4 day event, will be held in Houston Texas 4/17/2019 thru 4/20/2019.
Your donations will help ensure that all of our team can make it to this once in a lifetime incredible event.
The Funds will be used to make sure our robot will be competition ready and that we have all of the necessary supplies, parts and tools for a successful event. It will allow us to update our log book, a critical part of our success getting to the World Championships, prior to the event. They will also go towards our entrances fees for the competition.
We would be grateful for any and all donations. Any amount big or small would be much appreciated. We only have one month and the World Championships will be upon us.
