Alex was the most amazing guy anyone could have ever have met. He was full of life and had a heart of gold. He was gentle, kind, caring and just had so much love for those close to him. He could light up any room just by doing nothing and his smile was always contagious and pure. He had a good sense of fashion and always liked to change it up a bit every so often because he always liked to be different. He had a passion for skating, he was always trying to learn new tricks and skills and always had fun doing so, even through the amount of injuries and broken boards he had from it. He was always making time to hang out with friends, getting coffees, having lunch, going for drives, going to backyard parties or even out in the town for a few drinks. He was the life of the party wherever he went and anyone who knew him knew just how amazing he truly was. He was a selfless human being and always put everyone before himself especially his family whom he loved so much. He always liked to make sure that everyone was happy and always tried to see the positives in everything and everyone and also gave the best advice because he always liked to make things better, he was good at it too. Alex went through a tough time with mental health which at times really got the best of him but he always overcame it and always came out on top because that’s how strong and determined he was and he found happiness again. He always was a funny character, he always liked to be the class clown and try to make everyone laugh with his crazy personality, he hated seeing people upset. He was also the person to always stand up for himself in any situation that got thrown his way and never tolerated no bullshit.  Alex had so much going for him, like his skating sponsorships and his 21st next year and just bettering himself as a person, he had come so far and was really trying to make something of himself. He had his puppy that meant literally the world to him, that he treated like his own child, he would always walk her and snuggle with her and loved her unconditionally and now she’s going to sit waiting and wondering when he’s going to come walking through the door to greet her and play with her.
Alex was tragically taken from us in a car accident on Friday 19th April 2019 (Good Friday), he was only 19 and there was still so much he had planned to do. To help Alex’s family through this tough time and to help with the funeral costs to give Alex the send off he well and truly deserves, I have put together this fundraiser for him, he was loved by so many and will always be in our hearts. Forever and always a genuine soul, taken too soon. RIP Alex, hope you’re skating hard, drinking as much alcohol as you can and watching over us all, we love you! ❤️
