Family trip to New York

This school year my kids learned many things. One of the things they learned was about the Statue of Liberty and other things about New York in general.
My kids are still under the age of 6 years old so they haven't traveled much.
As a parent I want my kids to visit the many places they are learning about in school. As my kids are learning about the history of our country they are discovering that so much of our nations history took place in the east coast. After showing my kids where New York is in relation to us they started to ask if we could take a family trip.
Two years ago we decided to pay off our credit cards and never charge anything we could not pay off in 28 days. This has helped us weather the economic down turn. So, putting this trip on a credit card is not an option.
Not sure if many of you are aware of this but flying from one coast to another is not cheap. A family of 4 easily moves the air fair over 2,300 dollars.
What started as a side remark from a friend who stated I should try and get my family trip sponsored. I decided to put this page up and see what happens.
So, if you are interested in making my kids dream of seeing the Statue of Liberty. ( I will be honest it is my dream too ) Feel free to donate a few dollars.
The money raised will pay for the air fair and transportation for the family.
