O-Rings for Sensation Station!

Help Sensation Station Get O-Rings!!
At Sensation Station we believe that children learn about the world and develop through a complex interaction between their environment and their nervous system or senses. Development and learning can be enriched through multi-sensory experiences.
We have had the opportunity to test the O-Rings, a locally made, large scale sensory toy, for the past 7 months, and we have fallen in love with them!
The O-Rings are four stackable rings, of incremental sizes, and each ring is a different color, weight, density, filling, and texture.
They are open ended and can be used by kids of any age, any size, and any ability.
They provide texture stimulation through the fabrics, physical support, and can be made into a seat, a game, or anything you can imagine.
"The O-Rings are an open-ended toy which means children can play with them any way they want. From a theraputic stand point it is great for kids to play with things that don't have rules because we can do anything with them. They climb on them, hide in them, put them on their head, play hopscotch with them... the possibilities are endless. I love them, and more importantly, the kids love them!"
-- Darlene Shumchenia (COTA Sensation Station Warwick, RI)
Because the product is durable, uses high quality materials, and is manufactured locally, it is out of our price-range as a small institution.
Please help us get the O-Rings into our space so that our kids can continue to benefit from them!
We need $2000 to get four sets of the O-Rings. One set for each of our locations (Guilford and Warwick), and one set for each location to donate to an active member of Sensation Station.
In the event that there are funds exceeding the amount we are asking for, there will be more sets available for other families.
The O-Rings at Sensation Station Warwick
The O-Rings came in to being through collaborative research with Meeting Street School. They are designed and manufactured by Increment, a Providence based company dedicated to fostering inclusion, open ended play, and creativity in children of all ages and abilities.
