Our Bankruptcy Fund

My husband and I met 7 years ago, and I already had terrible credit.  My husband's wasn't much better.  We lived within our means for the most part, with few credit cards.  Then the medical bills came rolling in.  You see I have chronic abdominal pain and am Bipolar, while my husband has severe back and hip pain caused by arthritis, herniated disks, and Spondylolisthesis which is almost crippling.  He lost his job and can no longer work. Therefore we can no longer pay our bills. Our car was reposesed in May 2014 and my husband was forced to withdraw from School.  We are only in debt from credit cards by about $2000, but the medical bills are upwards of $50,000.  We need to file for bankruptcy but it costs money to do that.  We're living only on my disability which leaves us no money left over.  We are good upstanding people, who have fallen on hard times.  We have no assets to sell, no savings to fall back on, or investments to cash out. We just want to start from scratch and work our way back up.  I'm sure everyone's been in a similar situation or know someone who has.  Please help us if you can.
