#ProjectGiveBack Presents: Shine and Dine
Shine and Dine is an event geared towards empowering battered women. My team and I will be visiting The Dwelling Place which is a women's shelter who provide food, shelter, and supportive services to homeless/battered women in NYC. The event will include a catered dinner, motivational speakers who will give their testimonies expressing commonalities and empowerment for progression and growth, in addition to gift bags with lots of goods and necessities for them to enjoy.
Our mission is to show these ladies that although they are going through or have gone through certain situations in their lives, THINGS DO GET BETTER, as long as you stay positive and want that positive change in your life. We want to show them that everyday women go through a lot of devastating situations but here we are to share our stories and prove that we can rise together as strong women, move on from what happened, and do better collectively.

I need YOUR help!! Your donations will help us create this beautiful event for these women who truly need and deserve it. Any donation big or small will be greatly appreciated and will be going towards a great cause.
