Support the Sierra Mono Museum

The Sierra Mono Museum was founded by local Mono Indians and has been incorporated since 1966 and its operation is supervised by a five member Board of Directors.
Funds for collection and building maintenance are allocated from the General Operating Fund.  The Museum receives no federal, state or city funds, or other Indian tribes, for geneneral operating expenses The Museum relies solely on donated money from the membership list, funds received from special events, and the annual Indian Fair Days and Pow Wow. However, the last two years the pow wow event had to be cancelled due to large wildfires in the area and funds expended for this large event could not be recovered.
The funds collected will be used for a much-needed renovation, painting, cleaning, purchase of display and exhibit cases and to fund a part-time employee.
Any funds received will be placed in a bank account until enough is received to start projects.
The Sierra Mono Museum Board of Directors, the current membership,  stakeholders, and supporters of the Museum would be ever so greatful for any funds to keep the doors open and move forward with projects
