Silent Movie Dreams
This is the first full-length play written by Megan Jeannette Smith. It was accepted into the NY Theatre Summerfest at the Hudson Guild and will premiere in September 2019.
Synopsis:
The play tells the story of Natalie, a woman in her 30's living in NYC, wandering from relationship to relationship. As she unexpectedly gets pregnant, her dreams grow more and more intense as illustrated by two silent movie era performers. The play includes LGBTQ relationships and brings up reproductive rights and health.
