George Drouillard was the highest paid member of the Expedition hired by Meriwether Lewis to guide and interpret receiving 20% of President Jefferson's budget for the two year journey to the Pacific Ocean.
Cory Skyler Drouillard from July 2019 to August 2019 is taking his SKATE FOR GEORGE DROUILLARD GOFUNDME to the Dominion of Canada because George Drouillard was Canadian. Cory Skyler Drouillard is asking that Americans have the moral courage to once and for all end the myth of Sacajawea now that it has been proven that she was not the guide and interpreter and accept the factual story of George Drouillard the cartographer who was officially hired as the guide and interpreter who had the skills and the knowledge of what lie beyond the Mississippi.
It is now 215 years later and Cory Skyler Drouillard a former National Inline Speed Skating Champion and a descendant of George Drouillard is preparing to skate the Dominion of Canada to awaken the American historian, author, publisher and filmmaker to provide truth of fact when it comes to the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Cory Skyler Drouillard has said, "George Drouillard was the single most important member of the Expedition besides Meriwether Lewis and William Clark to deny George Drouillard his well earned place in history in the greatest adventure in American history is unfair to people around the world who journey each year to visit and learn about the Lewis and Clark Expedition.
