Hello!
My name is Nathan Baker. Currently, I work for an electronics retail chain that isn't doing so great right now. :(
I am also getting married this April! :)
Because of these circumstances I've been thinking a lot about the future, and changes that need to be made to achieve the life I want for myself and for my soon-to-be family.
For many years I've dreamed of running a snow cone stand. But, as it goes in life sometimes, it was always one of those things that got put on the "I'll get around to it" list and it never happened.
Well it turns out that a local snow cone stand is for sale! I've met with the owners and they are wonderful people! Yet, they are ready to move on to the next chapter in their lives and would like to sell their snow cone stand.
Given the unstable job situation and the family I will be starting, and the fact that there is a local snow cone stand available for sale... I'm taking this as a sign from the universe telling me it's time to do this!
The asking price is very reasonable and attainable. I will be doing everything I can to attain the funds to make this happen!
I already have a good chunk of what I need, but a friend suggested I try gofundme.com to raise the additional capital before going to the banks.
So here I am! :)
I put a max of $10,000 as my goal. This provides me with what I need to complete the sale and additional expenses such as inventory, equipment, licenses, and permits, etc.
Every little bit helps!
I don't know if I'll reach the entire goal through gofundme.com but every dollar donated is one dollar closer to making this a reality for me and my fiancee!
We will run this business together as a newlywed couple! :)
