Soles On Fire Dance Academy

Hey everyone!

For those of you who do not know me, my name is Kelsea! I am very passionate about a specific area of the arts, DANCE. When I was about 9 years old, I started taking dance at The Dance Experience in Celebration, FL and fell in love with dancing immediately! I competed with the competition team performing at Nexstar, Headliners, and Tremaine for a few years and loved every second of it. In the sixth grade, The Dance Experience closed and I then transferred to Raskin Dance Studio in Kissimmee, FL and fell even more in love with dancing. During my time at Raskin, I had the priviledge of being on a competition team again, performing at Adrenaline, NYCDA, Jump, and Showstoppers. During and since my freshman year of highschool I have had the priviledge of choreographing for some very talented dancers for the FLOCS/LCS Festival held each year at Southeastern University.

Over the years I have trained and learned from some of the most amazing artists within the dance world, whether they were in my hometown or from a well-known dance conventions such as Adrenaline, 24/7, NYCDA, Jump, Tremaine or studios in Los Angeles or New York City. I want to thank each of you for adding to my life and helping to shape me into the dancer, teacher, and choreographer I am today. Without your knowledge, love, and passion for dance, I would not be able to pass on the same feelings to my students that I have had in the past, present, and future.

Now that you know a small background about me,  I would like to tell you about Soles On Fire Dance Academy.

Soles on Fire Dance Academy is the name of the future business I plan to open and will be based out of Newnan, GA. As of right now, I do not have all of the money I need to start this company. However, with your help you can make this dream a reality. My desire is to create a dance studio where students can come and learn other styles than what are currently taught by those in my area. I want to create dancers that are well-rounded and versatile that will be able to take the things they learn to a professional world one day if they so choose!

I'm sure you would like to know how these funds will be used. To answer that question, it will be be going toward a potential studio space and supplies for the studio. Such as but not limited to, ballet barres, mirrors, and flooring. At the rate I am going, I am looking to reach my goal by July of 2016.

With your help you will not only make my dreams a reality, but will also be making a young girl or boy's dreams of dancing a reality! While there are studios these young kids could take class, I want to be the studio that offers classes no one else in my local area offers.
