Breathing Life into the Future

SOOF for Haiti Inc. is a nonprofit organization that will raise technological awareness for the underprivileged, underserved, and impoverished regions in Haiti. The purpose of SOOF for Haiti is to provide accessibility of information and education through the use of technology. SOOF will foster partnerships with the local school districts in desolate regions of Haiti, in order to establish and strengthen technological awareness. Our primary aim is to provide schools that have contractual agreements with the organization; a computer accompanied with a projector for each classroom while also having a central computer lab for the school.

Vision-We envision a Haitian society where information can be accessed everywhere.

1st Mission Trip: September 2016

Soof’s first project is an orphanage school located in Gonaives, Haiti. The name of the school is Institution Mixte Anthony Innocent. We have collected approx. 50 laptops/ computers from family, friends, and supporters of ours.

We are so close to accomplishing our goal. We need to get these computers to Haiti before the start of the next school year. We need your support. We need to raise 10k before the summer, so we can buy hard drives for the computers, lamps for the projectors, routers, and the coverage of shipping cost.

We ask that you make a commitment to support our first annual mission trip by making a cash donation. All money raised will used to fund Soof’s 1st mission trip.

If you wish to donate computers/laptops, we will be happy to pick up your donation. Your donation will be recognized on our website and events throughout the year. Remember that every donation makes a difference, regardless of size.
