South Reading VT Old Stone Church

Funds are needed to replace the metal roof on the South Reading, VT Old Stone Church.  Costs will be in excess of $40,000 to complete the work. The work will be done as soon as all the funds have been raised.  The place of worship now called, The Old Stone Church, was erected in 1844 as a non-denominational gathering place for people of all faiths and is still used today for weddings, funerals and religious holiday celebrations. The funds raised will go directly to the building fund.  This account has been set up at the request of the Board of Trustees. The benefit of completing this project is to insure that the interior of this beautiful building will continue to be protected from damage that could occur if the roof leaks. The cupola was repaired in 2016 so this is in great shape.
