Hello to everyone and thank you for taking the time to even visit our Go-Fund-Me page. We are a group of eight seniors at Radford University and we are in a project management course that requires us to host a fundraising event for the charity or group of our choice.
For our event, we will be hosting a 3K Dog Run/Walk at Bisset Park on December 3rd, 2016 called Sparky's Run benefitting the Humane Society of Montgomery County. We will have a course set up to run or walk with your dog safely to the end where you'll find games, food and drinks and prizes. . When you register you will automatically get a bottle of water, doggie bags, dog treats and a surprise treat for the humans. A few of our sponsors, Papa John's, Bojangles and Kroger, will be providing food and drinks. Other sponsors have donated gift certificates for the top three winners and the basket that is going to be up for grabs in a drawing (each ticket to enter will be $1). Examples of the gift certificates are a free dozen of donuts from Route 8 Donuts or a free large pizza from Papa John's. Our biggest prize that everyone is out for is a free one-year gym membership at New River Fitness for the winner of the race.
All profits from the event will go to the Humane Society of Montomgery County
For those who cannot attend the event, we have set up this Go-Fund-Me in hopes that you will still donate to benefit the Humane Society of Montgomery County and all the sweet animals there. There are so many dogs and cats there that need food and health care to stay healthy while they wait for their "fur"ever home. Any donation will go towards these wonderful lives who deserve a life outside of a shelter. We truly thank you in advanced from the bottom of our hearts and look forward to December 3rd!!
