Spreading Smiles in Bangladesh

Donation protected
My name is Faria and I am a highschool senior.
I traveled to Bangladesh last summer to teach science topics to students who are deprived of basic education. The kids want me to go back every year to teach them new things and in order for me to go back, I need your help in raising the money to pay for the cost of all of the materials to be brought back to Bangladesh.

How your donation will help the students:

$5 = 1 student.
$25 = 5 students.
$250 = 1 Bangladeshi classroom (50 students).
$1,000 = 1 average school (200 students).

Breakdown of costs:
Materials = $2000 (see below)

Aurora Borealis "light up toy":
Cost: $1,200
This “light box”, as the children called it, was another  circuit related toy. It was created using laser cut wood pieces, a transistor, 3 LED lights, a switch and a battery.

Quiz Board:
Cost: $400
The quiz board was made with 10 feet of wire, resistors and LED lights

Water rocket:
Cost: $400
The water rockets were launched with a rocket launcher that I brought with me on the trip. They were built with soda bottles and cardstock.

My plane fare: $2,000
