Noah & Dr. B (helping other kids)
Don protégé
KID WITH RARE BRAIN DISEASE TRYING TO HELP OTHER KIDS AND THEIR FAMILIES. We are asking for your help in funding the Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Stem Cell Transplantation clinic at the University of Louisville. Please consider donating to our Gofundme page so we can give back to the clinic and the children who are fighting every day to get better.
Our son, Noah, has been treated by Dr. Sal Bertolone (aka "Dr. B") at the clinic for an auto immune disorder that creates inflammatory pseudo tumors in his brain and brain stem. Last summer, Dr. B came up with a new treatment plan that has significantly shrunk Noah's lesions. We hope that one day soon, all of these lesions will be completely gone.
We would like to help others families with kids going through treatment at the clinic not to have to worry about whether they have all the money for essentials like gas money to get to the clinic or money for food during those trips. It also can help with payment of prescriptions that insurance doesn't cover. Or whether the clinic has the latest equipment for their child's treatment.
We have made an initial gift to start a fund in Dr. B's name to help the clinic provide families with treatment and support through The Univeristy of Louisville.
Please help us help the kids and families of the clinic.
Our family would like to thank you for your help or just prayers that you can share for these families.
