Honeystone Hikers for RNLI
Donation protected
My name is Hayley Coker, myself and a colleague, Tracy Mcgivern will be completing a 47 mile walk from Cromer to Hunstanton in Norfolk over 3 days. This adventure will be starting at Cromer Lifeboat station on the 3rd of June and ending at the Honeystone in Hunstanton on the 5th. We will be camping along the way and raising money from passers-by.
You may think this sounds easy, however Tracy and myself have never even worn a pair of walking boots before and we certainly shy away from camping! So why are we doing this…..
We enjoy throwing ourselves into great causes and raising money for charity. The RNLI is one of those great causes and due to living and working on the Norfolk coast is one that is close to hearts.
The RNLI is a charitably funded organisation that saves lives at sea. It is principally funded by legacies and charitable donations with most lifeboat crew members being unpaid volunteers.
All money raised will be going to the RNLI. They use donations to purchase equipment and train lifesavers.
