Help Baby Jason Fight Eye Cancer

Jason Smith is 11 months old.  He was just recently diagnosed with Retinoblastoma (eye cancer).  In just a matter of days from his diagnosis, he has undergone laser surgery to remove a tumor in his left eye and will begin chemo to shrink a large tumor in his right eye.  Once the tumor has shrunk they will remove the tumor along with his  right eye. 

Jasons' eye issue was discovered thanks to Facebook.  A family member saw the spot on his eye in his pictures and suggested we have him checked out because she had read about another child being diagnosed with a rare eye disease based on spots in his eyes.  

The initial  visit started out with our general practicioner who immediately referred them to Stanford and then they immediately referred us to UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital.  This is where Jason will receive all his treatments.    Treatment began immediately and doctors tell us the next few years will be a roller coaster ride.

Jason Smith is the first child of Glenn and Adrianna Smith.  Glenn and Adrianna are expecting their second child in 3 weeks.  They live in Gustine, CA  and will be making numerous trips to San Francisco for Jason's treatments.  Your help will be greatly appreciated!
