Stimming Paws Assistance Dogs

Donation protected
Stimming Paws Assistance Dogs  is a cooperation organization of owners who are training their own service dogs to use specific trained tasks to help mitigate their disabilities.  We provide training advice and assistance along with much needed support in the service dog owner training world. We provide assistance and training advice by using Skype, Youtube (our own videos), telephone and our facebook page.

Stimming Paws only uses positive training and reinforcement methods. We hope to become a non profit in the next year, so we may help more individuals who desperately need help training their service dogs.  We will also offer continued support after the dog has graduated.

The service dogs associated with this program are trained to meet the standards of Assistance Dogs International. Since we assist in the training of dogs internationally, we respect all laws and standards of those countries. Please check out the standards ADI provides. All of our service dogs are trained in advanced obedience, public access training and must perform at least three tasks that mitigate their handlers disability(ies) in order to graduate our program.

We offer assistance in :
• Basic Obedience

Some examples of our current service dogs in training:

Here is service dog in training, Flynn (6 months old), is learning how to assist his owner in removing difficult pieces of clothing.

Below, service dog in training, Lincoln (1 year old), is working on the "hold" command.  This command is used when his handler needs him to hold onto on object, whether it be a credit card or a medication bottle.  It is very useful and needed for various disabilities.
