Abused at 96, Justice for Irene

Donation protected

Watching this video may save you and your loved ones from terrible heartache. If you are moved and outraged by what happened to Irene, please share this video to help raise awareness of the increasing prevalence and brutality of elder abuse. I created this video myself, to help process my grief, to honor the memory of my aunt, and to urge the authorities to pursue these criminals.

Touched by my video, Kerry Burnight, CEO of the Ageless Alliance, recently honored my aunt at the World Elder Abuse Day Conference on June 15th in California. I hope this video will inspire you to help bring about change, and help me stop those who abused my aunt from harming other elderly victims.

Elder exploiters like the ones who drugged and starved Irene are getting away with murder. They know that families can’t afford to fight them and that the police aren't interested in pursuing cases of elderly abuse.  Abusers are free to exploit vulnerable new victims, steal their money, and neglect them to death.

We need this to change.  Each of us should feel secure that we will be cared for gently by those responsible for our care, and that the authorities who swear to protect us will do so, even if we’re over a certain age.  My aunt was a kind soul who took in any stray appearing on her doorstep; who happily gave away money to those in need. She did not deserve to die screaming in agony,  her urine seeping into open bedsores due to deliberate neglect.

No one deserves to die that way.

If you wish to contribute to my effort, your donations  will help fund my ongoing investigation into the link between the abusers, high-level bank officials, and religious tie-ins.  I am at work on a comprehensive           outline of the exploitation scheme, referencing the extensive evidence I've uncovered.  I will present this document to all government agencies able to prosecute, including the FBI.

When I've finished that effort, I will finish writing my novel, sharing my story to help prevent others from being exploited.  Irene's personal story of her life, based on interviews I recorded in the years before her death will be woven around my experience, the unfolding of evidence, and hopefully finding justice in the end.
