STOP Ozone Park Homeless Shelter

The Department of Homeless Services wants to place a homeless shelter for mentally ill single adults in the middle of our community, in the path of 5 schools and 8 churches. With the rise of crime with the mentally ill homeless community, we fear for our children, our seniors, and our women, in our community. We have hired an attorney who is going to sue the city and stop this from happening. The funds will be used for legal fees and anything left will be donated to needy families here in Ozone Park, through the block association.
