StreetCode Mobile Tech Lab

Facebook, Apple, Snapchat and Google, all of which were started by world class programmers. Now we have the information on how they started and it's time to bring this information to our lower income neighborhoods.

Throughout the last few years we've seen how minorities have become less valuable in the technical world. 

We were forced to confront a deeper question, where are all the Black, Hispanic or Native American Mark Zuckerbergs, Steve Jobs, Larry Page, and Evan Spiegels.

Though more people of color are entering the tech world, these numbers are not enough. So we decided to do something about it.

S.T.R.E.E.T C.O.D.E  which means Supplying Technical Resources and Expanding Educational Teaching  for Children Of Diverse Environments.

#Streetcode is a major initiative to help train 100,000 low-opportunity youths to become the next generation of world-class computer programmers. 

Our goal is to team up with local allies, including technical visionaries, community leaders and activists from all over the state of Georgia. We've forged a partnership with local businesses and we will publicly launch #StreetCode  with a bang.

#StreetCode has the potential to make a truly profound impact on the entire country but we have to start at home first (Georgia) but we need your help to make it happen.

We have a small staff with amazing skills but with a lean budget. Our efforts are bolstered by more than 50,000. We have the partners, plan and the visibility to succeed.
