#SummerStrong, Her War Against Cancer

My name is Malik Lewis, and I have created this campaign for Summer Brown, my best friend, girlfriend, and mother of our beautiful two year old baby boy. Any one who knows Summer Brown, knows that her smile can light up any room. In fact, it is said that you can feel her wonderful energy before she even enters the room. Her heart truly made of love, without a spec of hate. Summer has always been the type to give, give, give. She's never asked even when she's the one in need.
August 2017, is when Summer started to feel symptoms such as pain in her left upper leg. With being an athlete in the past years, she stated that it was as tense as a charley horse, but she had no idea why this type of pain would come back with no type of physical activity. The pain in her leg continues to get progressively worse over the next three months.
November 2017, Summers leg gives out as she carrying her baby, and the pain that once felt like a charley horse has now gotten worse and is now unbearable. Summer decides to go to the Emergency Room. They diagnosed her with sciatic nerve pain, suggested that she get a MRI, and sends her home with pain medication. She gets a MRI, and starts to see a chiropractor for her "sciatic nerve pain".
The pain continues to get worse, now making it hard for her to play with her son, or continue physical activity as she wishes. She ends up in the ER numerous times because the chiropractor and medication that was prescribed is not helping at all. June 2018, Summer decides to move back to Arizona hoping to get a better answer for the uncontrollable pain. Summer goes to the ER in Arizona with her mom, where they referred her to a Sport Medicine Doctor. This new Dr diagnoses her with IT Band Syndrome. This leads Summer to start physical therapy. After two weeks of physical therapy, the pain has not subsided and is constantly keeping summer up all night. After multiple ER visits since her last diagnoses Summer finally gets an x-ray on her leg. This leads to extra test because of the shocking x ray results.
On December 31, 2018, Summer Brown is diagnosed with Stage lymphoma. Summer finds out there is a tumor that has been growing in her leg this whole time. With no time to think about other ways to cure this cancer. Her doctor informs her that she want her to start chemo-therapy the same day, being her cancer is so aggressive. Summer checks into the hospital to start her war against cancer. Summer's treatment consists of six tough treatments of chemo-therapy. Each treatment she has to spend a week in the hospital, with chemo continuously running into her body.
I'm creating this campaign to help with all the expenses that goes in caring for someone with cancer. To help with medical bills from the past and bills in the future. To help make some of her dreams that she has, come true.
