Launching a Hot Pepper Business!
Donation protected
I have a passion for growing hot peppers.
Since the Spring of 2013 I have been devoting my time to doing my best to learn the in's and out's of growing chile peppers and over the past year I have working hard, devoting my time and effort, to build a business out of this passion.
With a strong background in web development and graphic design I have been able to design and produce my own logo, business cards, product packaging, and my website is in the works and will soon be ready to launch and start selling.
After my first real harvest last summer I have a fair share of product (seeds) of a few varieties that are ready to sell and with the next season approaching I am striving to grow around 20-25 varieties this time around.
But there are a number of hurdles I need to cross to finally launch, start advertising and selling!
To make this happen I need to register my business name, purchase website security (SSL certificate), buy more planting supplies - such as soil, planters, feed, and more lighting fixtures, and to cover the electrical expenses.
While these costs may seem small to a lot of people, with my current financial situation they are proving to be major challenges. With the summer season approaching they are even more challenging as many of my needs (especially soil & planters!) are time-sensitive.
I believe in hard work and I believe in giving back to those who help me along the way. I would be proud to honor each supporter by listing them (if they want) on my website as a contributor and to provide them with discounts on my products - maybe even free items (depending on availability and contribution made). I'm open to ideas and suggestions on how I might give back!
