May the New Year be upon us with all of its blessings.

‏Twice a year, in preparation for Rosh Hashanah and Passover, ‘Unite for Light’ - a dedicated group of Jews from Israel and the US - is raising funds for Jewish-Israeli families in Israel who cannot afford to celebrate the holiday with dignity.

Rosh Hashanah is a significant holiday for us all. A new beginning, full of hope and anticipation. The main spiritual practice at this time of year is donating to those in need. The donation is an act of kindness and compassion - a custom that recognizes the hardship of others, transcends differences, connects and unites people.

The Jewish people have always been known for coming together in times of hardship, especially now, when we face rising antisemitic and hatred, as our ongoing existential struggle continues to intensify all around the world. standing by one another with unwavering solidarity.

Rooted in a deep tradition of kindness, charity, and mutual responsibility, now is the time to open our hearts and lend a hand to those in need, help them provide a decent holiday meal to their kids and families, and uplift the holiday spirit.

Help us to spread kindness in his world, do a great mitzvah and fulfill what we believe and cherish - "All Jews are responsible for one another (כל ישראל ערבים זה לזה)".
