Hello all, my name is Dawn Morris and I have started this GoFund for a special friend and co-worker.

Savannah Butler, is married with five children. She was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma in 2020. This is a rare cancer that targets the surronding cells of the bone. She overcame the cancer with radiation and chemo.

However, about three months ago, she started experiencing some shortness of breath, after an ER visit, labs, and a chest xray, a lung nodule was identified and a lymph node in her right auxillary.

A few weeks ago, she underwent a biopsy, the results revealed the return of cancer. Those results came back as Stage 4 Ewing Sacroma, as well as, more aggressive. After discussion with her oncologist, unfortunately, she not respond to chemo and radiation. She will begin seeing her sarcoma specialist in Vanderbilt. Additionally, they will send her to Houston, TX to discuss a potential clinical trial December 10th. This will require a five day stay.

Prayers are needed for her and her family in the days ahead. We know God is the healer of all healers, he is the alpha, the omega, the beginning and the end. We pray for healing, for GOD’s touching hands on the doctors, nurses, and specialiats that will be involved with her care.
