Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 811 Cathedral Street, Baltimore.
We will be presenting a concert performance of George Frederic Handel's first Italian oratorio, Il Trionfo del Tempo e del Disinganno (The Triumph of Time and Disillusionment). This concert will feature four solo vocalists along with seven Baroque instrumentalists:
Nola Richardson, Soprano as Bellezza (Beauty)
Anne Giancola, Soprano as Piacere (Pleasure)
Janna Critz, Mezzo-soprano as Disinganno (Disillusionment)
Andrew Hann, Tenor as Tempo (Time)
Theodore S. Davis, Harpsichord
John Armato, Theorbo
Jeffrey Grabelle, Viola da gamba
Aik Shin Tan, Baroque viola and flute
Edmond Chan, Baroque violin
Alexa Cantalupo, Baroque violin
David Dickey, Baroque oboe
This is a Baltimore community project that will be free of charge; therefore, our funding will largely depend on the generosity of our friends and family. We have raised close to $800; however, we are still in need of your support for musician's fees, venue maintenance, reception, and advertisement. We hope you will consider donating to this project and join us in supporting the arts within our community. Every little bit counts!
