Survival for a battered woman

I read Coral's story, Bonshea Making Light of the Darkness, on the internet and have connected with Coral via the internet. I am a survivor of domestic violence, stalking, harassment, trauma and maternal alienation. I am a psychotherapist , I used to work in a county system, and I advocate for battered women and children. Thus, I have much understanding of the tidal wave of opposition, oppression, sexist discrimination, and overwhelming violations of basic human rights, which battered women and children suffer on a daily basis, on this planet. We ALL suffer when this historical paradigm of sexism, which is meant to keep women in their place and toxic males in charge, continues to thrive.
These systemic BLAME THE VICTIM beliefs have left Coral struggling to financially survive. She has now worked for days to submit her motion and affidavit, with no attorney for lack of affordability, to the court in order to prevent garnishment of her meager social security income. Legal Aid does not help battered women in divorce, child custody, child support , nor these legal matters. The "justice" system plans to garnish 15% of her social security income which leaves her with no food budget. Coral has medical expenses, cost of used car repairs, and could not afford to send court papers priority mail.
Coral lives on disability because of a severe trauma disorder following decades of both childhood and marital violence in addition to legal stalking. She lives in hiding, in a state sponsored, housing program. She was sex trafficked, as a child, and disinherited. "Battered women may lose their babies and children, their homes, their friends and their livelihood. Survivors of abuse will often lose their families. Rarely does society recognize dimensions and long lasting effects of this reality for the victim". Years ago, she attempted to go to college but had to drop out when her ex-husband filed a motion in an Appellate Court. Her passport has been revoked unless she pays enormous, fraudulent child support which are not required when one lives with a disability.
Her "crime" was to seek SAFETY, for herself and the couple's children, from her abusive, religious minded husband. As abusive fathers do, he was vindictive and fought to take their eight children away from her (maternal alienation typically committed by parents who have a personality disorder). He succeeded, as abusers do, by using violence, mind control of children, lying and manipulating, putting on a mask of sanity in the courtroom, and outspending her in legal costs (since most battered women do not have access to the money required to pay for outrageous court costs). Total costs , which Coral has incurred for court and attorney fees, loss of work, and travel have mounted to $250,000.
Coral's ex-husband has used maternal alienation to keep their children programmed to hate and shun her. She does not deserve this nor do their children. It is the worst form of child abuse. Coral broke under the weight of this cruelty but has regained her health in order to be speaker, author, advocate and a most beautiful soul on this viscious planet. The patriarchal system wishes to silence her because she speaks truth about these atrocious human rights violations. They want to strip her of poverty income, to pay fraudulent child support charges, for children who are grown and who she is not allowed to see while the abuser is wealthy, not held accountable, and is supported by both patriarchal legal and religious social powers who promote misogyny.
Please consider, from your heart, what you can to to help one battered woman who has struggled for decades to survive. Coral has valiantly and eloquently fought the good fight in order to contribute some heartfelt, spiritual enlightenment and positive change and growth to this blunted, ignorant, brutal culture. Her need is imminent as garnishment will start soon if she is, once again, stomped on in the "justice" system. Worse is that she states the evangelical and catholic church support Coral's ex-husband in this travesty of justice and have attended court hearings. Really! all that needed to happen is for males who are brainwashed with toxic patriarchal beliefs, i.e. of having to be in charge all the time, instead choose to introspect, have humility, be kind, respect Coral, gently support her recovery, and share power versus dominate with self-interest. These are TRUE family values.
Please foward this, if this touches your heart, and spread the word about the severe injustice, this domestic terrorism and war on women, being served upon battered women and children. This Family Court Crisis (unjustly taking children away from fit, protective parents who expose abuse) is an epidemic and public outcry which demands change as children need SAFETY and support, first, in order to thrive. Domestic violence is at the root of all crime. This affects all of us.
