Caleb Hatchett's Hope and Love Fund

My nephew, Caleb Hatchett, age 20, the son of Scott and Tina Hatchett, has recently been diagnosed with metastatic Ewing sarcoma.  It is an aggressive, rare (1% of all pediatric cancers), type of bone cancer.  There are roughly 200 cases of Ewing Sarcoma diagnosed within the US every year. Caleb also has type 1 diabetes.  Caleb's treatment will total 2 years and consist of chemtherapy, radiation treatment and possible reconstructive surgery.  On top of Caleb's medical issues, his younger brother, Daniel, age 17, and his sister, Hannah, age 15, also have type 1 diabetes.  Hannah has also just been diagnosed with juvenile myoclonic epilepsy.  This family's medical expenses are insurmountable.   All three children are being treated at American Family Children's Hospital in Madison.  They are making weekly and sometimes daily trips between Whitewater and Madison for doctor appointments and hospital stays.  Since Caleb's initial Ewing diagnosis, his parents have experienced a significant shift in their ability to care for their family.  Please join me in helping to raise money for this family and their financial needs.  I would greatly appreciate whatever you would be willing to do for Caleb and his family during this time.  Prayer is the first and most important request!  Caleb has a strong faith in the Lord, as does his family, and we know that God is carrying Caleb through each step of his cancer journey.  God bless each and every one of you for all of your love and support towards Caleb at this time.

His loving aunt,
Jennifer
