USYCA Schools Cricket Program

The USYCA Story:

USYCA is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization.

Since 2010, the USYCA Schools Program has donated over 2,000 cricket sets to schools across the United States, at no cost to the schools. It has also arranged for local volunteers to go to schools to deliver cricket instruction, and has conducted training sessions for physical education teachers, again at no cost to the schools. The program won an International Cricket Council regional award in 2011, and has been featured in local, national and international media.
 
Cricket is the world's second-most popular spectator sport, and millions of families from cricket-playing nations are now in the United States, bringing with them their passion for the sport. However, countless millions of American children will never have the opportunity to experience this great game without the USYCA Schools Program. Budget-strapped schools cannot afford to purchase equipment, although many PE teachers would love to expose their students to a new activity. This is where USYCA steps in with the donation of equipment and training.

USYCA is 100% dependent on the generosity of donors to make its cricket sets available to American children. It goes without saying that the availability of American Cricket Champ sets for donation is the lifeblood of our work, and that as we donate from our existing supply, these sets must be replenished. Any funding received here will go directly toward the purchase of new cricket sets, at the rate of 100%.

Due to continued requests for donations from school systems, USYCA finds itself in critical need of immediate support. Any amount that can be given would be greatly appreciated as we seek to continue, without interruption, our mission to bring cricket to all of America's children.
