Tarrence's Funeral Fund

On Sunday, November 8, 2015, 5yr. old Tarrence Davis was hit by a car in front of his North Memphis home. He was placed on life support in hopes that his life could be saved. However, unfortunately, Tarrence lost his battle on Friday, November 13th.  As God would have it, we met this family through my husband’s ministry, and although we are just getting to know them, we have grown to love them fondly (I just hate we didn’t have a chance to meet Tarrence). I’m told he was FULL of life, loved helping others, giving warm hugs and friendly smiles, playing with his 2 brothers…and much like our 5 yr. old son, Tarrence loved Spiderman, ninjas, and soda pop. I can only imagine what this family is experiencing without any monies for funeral expenses and that’s why I’m reaching out to you.

I believe God blesses us to be a blessing others, and this is an excellent time for us to share His love, which is so generously extended to all. Please help us assist Tarrence’s family in giving him a proper funeral and burial. We would be most appreciative for anything you can give, and know all funds received will go towards their expenses.  Thanks in advance! 

Tarrence’s visitation will be held from 3-6 p.m. Friday, November 20, at Coleman Chapel CME Church-904 Kney, and the Celebration of Life will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 21 at Trinity CME Church-1096 Danny Thomas Blvd. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Midtown. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Jefferson Mortuary, Millington.
