I have always had a passion for helping the aspiring talent. My journey towards helping independent artists began when I created my personal blog, MissCaseyCarter.com , back in 2009. As I started blogging to share my love for music, entertainment, events and the nightlife, my new hobby eventually evolved itself into a true passion. However, attending my first hip-hop concert helped me to discover that I wanted to help independent talent in any way I could, and this became my mission. My passion for helping others and discovering hidden talent has led me to putting myself out there and allow others to use my platform as a resource. MissCaseyCarter.com allowed me to help many independent artists, whether through sharing their content, assisting with connections, or even simply attending their shows. Being able to support others along their journeys, and help independent artists earn the recognition they deserve, has always given me a spirit of fulfillment.
Fast forward to now, where I am pursuing my own personal journey. Since starting my blog, I have put on many different hats, whether as a promoter, manager, or interviewer. However, I now finally feel focused enough to take a leap, and to start a whole new platform and adventure. This new site, properly titled The Blow Up, will cater to independent talent, and assist with helping to jumpstart their careers. This site will offer a platform for independent artists to share their material, build a community, discover useful career advice, share their stories, and SO much more!


I know some of you may be wondering why am I starting a new platform when I currently have something exceptional with MissCaseyCarter.com? The truth is, I’ve had the opportunity to work with many talented individuals who I have taken under my wings and mentored. I’ve been able to teach them everything I know about the digital media and entertainment world and have allowed them to use my platform as their own outlet to share content and support undiscovered talent. With the launch of The Blow Up, I look to transition MissCaseyCarter.com back into something more personal and use this new site as a way to continue working with individuals who share the same interests as me in helping the up and coming stars of today. I will be able to provide a platform that will focus more on the people who this mission will help: undiscovered artists who are looking for ways to get their stories told, their passions discovered, and their music heard.
