Keeping The Blues Alive
There's nothing like the real deal, and 83-year-old bluesman Leo "Bud" Welch is just that.
Born in 1932, Welch grew up in Mississippi and is one of the oldest and last Bluesman remaining from that era.
One of Leo's wishes is to help keep the tradition of blues alive in a new generation of children. To do so, he hopes to continue to travel to schools throughout the South to perform, answer questions, and expose a new generation to the blues.
We are starting this GoFundMe to help cover the cost of travel to and from the schools to keep Leo going and to hopefully inspire the next great Blues musician.
