The DynaSmiles: Smiling In The City

My name is Daveia and I live in New Jersey. I am a wife, mom and small business owner. I like to draw and have been drawing for years; decades. My art is very lively and upbeat and has somehow found its way onto some really cool stuff. My husband, Edmund, and I would like to share this cool stuff with the world... well at least the nice people of New York City and sure could use your help!



The DynaSmiles Stationery & Gifts, which is an extension of our graphic design business, is the official name of our 'cool stuff' that includes a wide range of products. We have really cool t-shirts, invitations, notecards, journals and phone cases. What makes our items so much fun are our refreshingly delightful character illustrations drawn with a big, bright, happy smiles to simply help brighten your day.







The Circle of Sisters Expo in NYC is one of [if not] the largest event to focus on women of color and their interests. In existence since 1998, this event now attracts over 40,000 attendees. With the majority of our products reflecting women of color, we feel exhibiting here would help us tremendously in securing a strong customer base that would keep our business going.





As you can imagine, exhibiting in an event as big as the Circle of Sisters Expo comes with a hefty price tag. Your donation will help offset our costs of securing a booth space and getting our products manufactured as what you've seen here are just samples. You can also help by telling your family and friends about us, especially if our products made you smile. This is a big, no HUGE leap of faith for us and we know with your help we can do it!
