Empower African Girls Through STEM
Tax deductible
The Joule Foundation (TJF) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to bridging the gender gap in African STEM education. TJF empowers young girls to pursue STEM education and careers by providing resources that complement the secondary school curriculum in African nations. Our academic workshops and programs are designed to address the problems closest to home by pairing learnings from the classroom with hands-on-activities, mentoring and career awareness programs.
With your help, we will pilot our workshops and programs in Tanzania, Nigeria, Kenya & Zimbabwe for secondary school girls.
Through your financial partnership, we will implement a robust curriculum focused on:
1. Engineering design process
2. Career awareness
3. Interpersonal skills
4. Industry experiences and real world problem solving
