The Movement Project for ATRT

Donation protected
Hello Friends and Family,
I wanted to let you all know about a special project I'm working on. It's called The Movement Project. Dance groups from all over the Pacific Northwest will be coming together January 16th at the Wildish Theater to put on a performance that benefits a non profit called Cure ATRT Now.

Early last year, my friends' son, Ari, was diagnosed with ATRT (atypical teratoid rhabdoid tumor), which is a rare and very aggressive pediatric cancer. You can read about their story at thelionfights.blogspot.com. This cancer usually affects the brain, but can also affect other areas of the central nervous system. It can spread very quickly and therefore is very deadly. Children who are diagnosed under the age of 3 have a 10% survival rate. There is no known cure for ATRT, but Cure ATRT Now is trying to change that.

Cure ATRT Now is a non profit that raises funds for better treatments and to ultimately find a cure for ATRT. You can read more about Cure ATRT Now at cureatrt.org.

To put on this show, we need your help! Costs of the show include:
-$1200 for theater fees
-$500 for t-shirt pre-orders
-$800 for guest groups travel from out of state

The money raised on gofundme will allow 100% of the ticket and t-shirt sales to go directly to Cure ATRT Now. Any excess funds raised on gofundme will go directly to Cure ATRT Now.

Please donate! Please share! Tweet it out to all of your friends! I'm excited to bring the dance community together to support a cause that is dear to my heart.

Thank You,
Cecilia Woods
