The Other “F” Word www.TheOtherFWord.com
“The Other ‘F’ Word” is something we all have, lack, stomp on, flip over, reject, embrace, spit upon and rejoice in—IF only we get to know that it even exists!
My goal is to slap this “F-Word” out there with dabs of humor, common sense, comics, stickers, maybe even a cartoon and TWO books! The thing is, a lot of people don’t even realize that they NEED this “Other F Word” until they learn that it stands for “Faith!”
Now don’t turn a blind eye or roll your eyes because I said that “F-Word!” Sometimes I swear that “F-Bombs” are more easily expressed than this “F-Word” of Faith!
I’d planned on putting my two books out there sometime ago in big ways, but alas I’ve had a slew of bad luck, health wise. I have a rare thingy where my top two vertebrae of the spine in my neck are literally NOT connected called an Os Odontoideum! So, essentially, there’s not much that keeps my head on as securely as the next person. It makes people like me quite a bit more prone to spinal cord injuries of the worst kind. Unfortunately, I’ve been met with many issues due to this vulnerability.
Now then, I am a published author, but I am NOT finding a publisher who finds the need for a book on Faith to be put out there by someone who isn’t a person who preaches from a pulpit! What a strange thing, eh? I think my passion speaks loudly enough! :)
So, I took it upon myself to partly fund one of the books to be made called “Diary Blog of the Fickle Finders: Investigates—The Other F Word” (for ages 7 & Up), that you can see on www.TheOtherFWord.com AND www.FickleFinders.com
BUT, I was unable to do as I hoped in getting the word out for this book due to ongoing health issues, reducing my ability to fund the book properly. Then, a strange thing happened when it was suggested that I create a cartoon sample film of the book to be presented to a TV Network—because the book was THAT engaging!
Did I forget to mention that I am a cartoonist, too? Yep, so I drew all of the comics in the book, too! But it’s difficult to draw when your head feels like it’s about to fall off and/or explode! It makes for great jokes sometimes (i.e. "I’ve got a screw loose." "I'd loose my head if it weren’t attached."), but for the most part it’s a rotten predicament! So NOW I’ve got a cartoon that’s needing to be made, too!!!
I ALSO decided to create a book for adults with comics, humor and common sense Faith-stuff in it, too, called “The Other F Word.” It’s written, drawn, and joyfully sitting on my computer waiting to be presented to the world!
I am absolutely hoping to be able to fund the books and cartoon project to inspire as many people as possible to sputter out THIS “F-Word” in as many different voices as possible! Please help us ALL sing a different tune!
