Let's Launch The PupCakery!

Donation protected

When we decided it was time to add a furry baby to our growing family, we knew that adoption was our only choice.  Having both grown up with adopted pups we knew that the heart of a pup who wanted nothing more than to be a part of our family was exactly what we needed!

When we heard the story of Rex and what his little puppy soul had been through at such a young age, we just knew he was the one!  After his 1400 mile journey home, he joined our family in the summer of 2014, and he was nothing less than the PERFECT dog.

During our first year with Rex as a part of our family, he taught me so much.  He taught me to be grateful that flip flops only cost $2.00, by eating every single pair I owned.  He taught me that my boyfriends gas has got nothing on his.  He taught me that when your baby is sick, you dont even question the hundreds of dollars in veterinary bills, even though the only diagnoses he will come out with is a tummy ache.  He taught me to love unconditionally, and he taught me that morning snuggles  are the best snuggles.

Some people say that we saved Rex, but really...he saved us!  He has been the best therapy and my best friend and will continue to be for many, many years to come.

So, when I decided to take on a business venture, it only made sense that I take on one that I could do with help from my best friend, Mr. Sexy Rexy.  This is when the idea for The PupCakery was born.

Rex and his sensitive tummy inspired me to create a line of wholesome, healthy, delicious snacks for our best friends and fur babies while raising awareness for animals in need of homes through adoption.  The PupCakery will be dedicated to donating 10% of all business to local animal shelters and rescues.

I have always been a huge supporter of small, local businesses and Rex and I have decided to dive all in and make The PupCakery a reality this year.

We are aiming for a launch in April 2016 and plan to not only bring our delicious treats to Rhode Island locals, but to dog lovers all over the country, but we need your help!

The startup costs associated with starting our business are minimal in comparison to other businesses, but they still exist.  We are looking to raise money to get our designs and packaging created without breaking the bank, so that we can bring The PupCakery to a farmers market or shop near you!
