Develop at-risk youth into real artists

The Arts-Mentorship Program, our flagship program, will give "at-risk" youth the opportunity to work alongside arts-mentors on artistic projects that will build awareness in the community about social issues that the youth find compelling. After creating portfolio-worthy pieces in either creative writing, design, photography, fine art, video or music production through their Public Service Announcement project, students will then be challenged to produce a Personal Project that will build on their preexisting skills, skills learned through the PSA project, and additional guidance they will receive from their arts-mentor.

Your donations will help us plant the seeds of The Transit Center"“Art and Production Gallery. They will help us open the gallery that will be the launchpad for the future artists we hope to inspire.
