Tiffany's Medical Expenses
"I never did relate to the saying "when it rains, it pours" until just recently."
On September 28th 2017, Tiffany noticed two lumps on her breasts that were very painful and caused such a severe infection to the point of having a temperature of 104° for two days straight. It was eating through her breast tissue. She spent days in and out of appointments at the Breast Center and hospital complete with scans, multiple tests, a biopsy and then procedures to remove them. She was out of work for a full week.
On October 11th, Tiffany woke up in excruciating pain in her pelvic area. She found out that she was miscarrying.
On October 16th, she then was in more pelvic pain. "I thought for sure it had to do with the miscarriage so I returned to the e.r." After many more tests, fluids, ultrasound and a pelvic exam, they found out she had many cysts rupture and had fluid around her uterus. Upon the pelvic exam, the doctor noticed abnormal appearance in her cervix and then referred her to a specialist.
On October 17th, Tiffany had an appointment with that specialist. She went over her records and then did an exam herself. Not only does Tiffany have cysts around her cervix, she also has malignant changes in the tissue. She removed some and was sent in for a biopsy. After weeks of anxious waiting, she received the news that it was indeed cervical cancer. Luckily, it was caught early. Tiffany underwent a procedure called LEEP and then will be, again, anxiously waiting to see if the cancer is still there. Only time will tell if she will need chemotherapy, radiation or a combination of both. With all of this being said, Tiffany is already drowning in bills and received news that she was let go from her job due to what has been happening. She financially needs help. Thank you and God Bless.
