Cycling 2015- road to professional

In 2012 I made a return to competition after 5 years out with back problems. After 2 surgeries to fuse my lower spine together I made my comeback at the Deaf European Champs in Russia. I decided to set my sights higher for 2013 with harder racing at the heart of cycling in Belgium on the elite racing scene and also targeted the Deaf Olympics. I won a silver in the Road Race and a bronze medal in the Points Race.

Following on with another season in Belgium in 2014, I secured more top 10 results than 2013, confirming that I still have what it takes. Now my sights are set higher for 2015 in my bid to turn professional in 2016. It has now been 2 full seasons of hard racing, and I believe that I have found my race legs to enable me to take a bigger step next year with my performances. 


Your donations will go towards my race and travel expenses, race entry fees and rent for the year as I will not be getting a salary for riding. And also food! As a bike rider who consumes as much as 3000-5000 calories a day, it's vital to eat all the correct food and take the right supplements. 

In addition I will be going on pre season training camps to fine tune everything from my body to equipment and routine.
