School Science Lab in Zambia
Donation protected
We are a group of students from North London, who are trying to raise money for a school in Zambia, called the Flying Angels School.
We are lucky enough to be taking a trip here in July in order to teach in the school for 2 and a half weeks. For the school to become certified as a centre where their students can sit their important national exams, they must build a science lab. Currently the older students at Flying Angels must be transported, at great expense, to far off centres in order to take their exams. The funds raised in this campaign will go directly towards building this science lab, in order to help progress the educational community of Flying Angels and the local area. As well as allowing the students to take their exams at their own school, a science lab would be a fantastic facility to galvanise interest in science in the local community and to allow the Zambian children to experience the wonders of scientific experimental practices. Any donation, big or small, will make a great difference to the lives of the students, improving their quality of education and the facilities in which they learn.
We will be raising money in the build up to a science event which we are orgainsing on the 2nd July, to coincide with the aim of building a science lab at the school. We, and the students at Flying Angles, would be so grateful for any money given to this cause. It is truly worth while and will make a difference to so many. Thank you for all of your help!
